The Client.
Tradet marketplace is a startup based in New York. Tradet is a local classified marketplace that helps people buy and sell the new, nearly new , used goods from various categories such as electronics and tech, fashion and clothes, items for children and babies, and furniture for home & garden and even specialized interests such as cars and property in their locale.
The Challenge.
The challenges faced in most of the marketplaces especially when it comes to the used goods are scammy sellers and buyers.Founder wanted to put a curb on the scams and make the selling and buying experience smoother, transparent and fair by enabling Profile, ratings and in App chat features for sellers and buyers where both can see each other’s profile, ratings and can chat to discuss and agree upon a price.They can sell and purchase in the App and meet up to know who they are dealing with and build a trust.
The Solution.
We designed and developed an App which lets people buy and sell anything they wish on the go. This is a two face App one for sellers and another for buyers. Sellers can snap a photo , write a description of the product , choose a category and post it for free to go for sale. Buyers on the other end can browse the categories, sort and filter, search for the products they want in their locale. Once they like the product they can send an offer and start chatting with the seller to come upon an agreement.
